A local dealership serving drivers across the valley

EDS OF THE VALLEY MOTORS

New cars, used cars, finance, servicing and trade-ins — sold and fixed by the same people, under one roof.

  • New & used
  • Workshop on site
  • Trade-ins taken

Two jobs, one building

A lot of places sell you a car and then send you somewhere else when it needs work. We do both. The forecourt and the workshop share a yard, which means the people who hand you the keys are the people who see the car come back for its first service.

That changes how we sell. There is no sense talking a car up on Saturday when the same technicians have to put it on a ramp in eighteen months. So the used stock is checked before it goes out front, the faults get written down rather than polished over, and if a car on the pitch is wrong for what you actually need it to do, we will say so.

What we sell: new vehicles ordered to spec, used vehicles prepared in our own workshop, finance arranged and explained in plain figures, servicing and MOT-time maintenance, trade-in valuations, and parts ordered to the counter for the people who prefer to turn their own spanners.

How an enquiry goes

  1. You tell us the job

Buying, selling, servicing or a part. One line is enough — what you drive now and what you need it to do.

  2. We come back in writing

A reply by email first, so the figures, the dates and what is included are there to read twice.

  3. You come in

Test drive, walkaround or drop-off at the workshop. No appointment is wasted on a car that was never right for you.

  4. You leave with the paperwork

Invoice, service record or valuation — whatever the job was, you go home holding the proof of it.

How we work

Sold and serviced by the same people

The workshop sees every used car before the forecourt does. Nobody here wants to meet a problem twice.

Faults written down

Stone chips, tyre wear, the bits that will need doing next year — on the sheet, before you ask.

Monthly figure and total figure

Finance shown both ways. A low monthly payment over a long term is not the same as a cheap car, and we say so.

Trade-in valued in front of you

We walk round your car with you and explain what moved the number up or down. Yours to take elsewhere if you want.

A call before extra work

If the technician finds something mid-service, you hear about it and decide. Nothing is added to the bill on our own say-so.

We will tell you not to buy it

If the car you like cannot tow what you tow or fit what you fit, that conversation happens before the deposit, not after.

After you have bought it

The sale is the short part. Most of a car's life with us is servicing: oil, filters, brakes, tyres, the warning light that came on halfway up the hill, the week in spring when everyone remembers their MOT at once.

Booking that in should not take three phone calls. Tell us the registration and roughly when suits you, and we will put you in a slot and say what the job involves. If the car needs to stay longer than expected, you hear it from the person doing the work rather than at the counter when you come to collect.

Parts work the same way. Give us a registration and we will find the right part for that build rather than the one that looks close in the catalogue. Collect it from the counter, or leave the car with us and we will fit it.

And if you are only thinking about it — an enquiry is not a commitment. Plenty of people ask what their car is worth, read the number, and come back a year later. That is fine. The valuation is yours either way.

Tell us what you need

Buying, part-exchanging, booking a service or chasing a part — one message covers all of it.

  • A salesperson or a service advisor reads it. There is no call centre in between.
  • We reply by email first, so the details are in writing before anyone picks up a phone.
  • First thing we will ask: what you drive now, and what you need it to do.
